FAQ

  • What Does Hope Believe?

Hope is a Foursquare Church- a pentecostal evangelical denomination. We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers just as He did in the book of Acts.

  • What Should I Wear to Church?

Most of our members attend church in jeans or other casual clothing. The most important thing is to be comfortable!

  • Does Hope believe in Women in Ministry Leadership?

Yes! We believe the Bible makes it clear that God empowers women to lead, teach and disciple.

  • How long is a typical Sunday church service?

We start at 10am and usually end around 11:30am. Our kids head to their own class after worship (usually 10:45am).

  • What does Hope believe politically?

Here at Hope one of our values is Diversity of Thought. This means that we believe we are better when we don’t all agree. We show charity and kindness to others viewpoints, and want to mirror the early church in its political diversity.

  • Are single people and single parents welcome at Hope?

We believe that the Bible shows us examples of people at every age and stage being honored and treasured by God. Spoiler: We worship a single, childless guy. Here at Hope the nuclear family is not worshipped as the ultimate goal of life or expression of God’s perfect will.
